I'll have to ask one of my profs if he's heard of this guy. Dr. Sigurd Grindheim worked on a recent Norweigan Bible translation (Helge wrote a "treatise" on them, apparently).
I partly see the appeal of inventing languages. I think that reading Tolkien's appendices to Lord of the Rings partially inspired my interest in linguistics. But ultimately, I think there are too many incredible real languages to learn to waste time on made up ones. Not everyone agrees with me, though. Go to my profile and click on "Linguistics"--you'll find a lot more Klingon than Chomsky.
